Donate to WE-CAN

In our first year, a number of people made all the difference by choosing to support the West Coast Climate Action Network (WE-CAN). It is thanks to them and our incredible volunteers that we have been able to develop and grow into the organization we are today.  However, we can’t run on volunteers alone.  We need your support to continue our work to uplift, coordinate and support climate action groups in BC.

To Donate Directly

1: To Donate by Interac e-transfer
a) Log into your online or mobile bank account and select “Send Interac@e-transfer”.
b) Choose or add “West Coast Climate Action Network”, email lily@westcoastclimateaction.ca as the recipient.
c) Enter the amount. Select submit. WE-CAN’s bank account is set up to accept auto deposits so a security question is not necessary.

2: To Make an Internal Vancity Transfer
If you bank with VanCity Credit Union or an affiliate you will not need to pay Interac service charges. After logging into your account and filling out the required fields in the “Transfer Money” menu, select “Another Member” as the recipient. You will be asked for our WE-CAN Relationship Number (#91334068) and our Account: “Business Chequing”. If you do this, can you please email Lily at lily@westcoastclimateaction.ca to let her know.

3: To Make a Monthly Donation
If you would like to become one of “100 Friends of WE-CAN” by making a monthly donation using Interac e-transfer, select “Recurring Transfer”. Or to donate monthly by credit card, please fill out the form on the right and select “monthly” at the top.

4: To Donate by Cheque
To donate by cheque, mail a cheque payable to “West Coast Climate Action Network” to: WE-CAN, 407-6591 Lincroft Road, Sooke, BC V9Z 1M2
