Working in step with the national organization’s drive to advance people, planet and democracy, the South Okanagan Chapter of the Council of Canadians is a volunteer group that functions solely and in allyship with local climate and peace groups to bring awareness to and educate people about the intersections of climate justice and social justice.
The geographic range of the Chapter is from Osoyoos to West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley, and west to Cawston and Keremeos in the Similkameen Valley.
We are immensely grateful to live and work on the unceded, unsurrendered territories of the syilx peoples of the Okanagan.
