Climate Education for All (CEFA) is a youth-led network of university campaigns mandating climate education. Our mission is to inspire a movement expanding basic climate education to all university students, empowering a generation of climate-conscious professionals to advance equitable climate solutions across all sectors.

We are currently supporting students (“CEFA ambassadors”) in running CEFA campaigns at nine campuses across five Canadian provinces and one abroad. Our purpose is to provide campaign strategy training and evidence-based resources, ongoing mentorship, and peer community for sharing lessons learned, while building a research database of campaigns’ best practices to strengthen grassroots wins.

CEFA addresses climate justice by shifting universities’ role into forming professionals who transform rather than perpetuate systems of socio-environmental destruction and inequity. Moreover, as our generation will bear disproportionate impacts, climate education is young people’s right, and a pathway for converting both anxiety and unawareness into action.

Chapters nationally, but directors based in Vancouver, and we have chapters in BC at UBC Vancouver, SFU, and Okanagan College (so far, we're expanding...)
