Which Way Forward? Guy Dauncey’s Review of the CleanBC Review
As part of the agreement between the BC Green Caucus and the government, an independent review of CleanBC’s many programs was undertaken by Merran Smith and Dan Woynillowicz. I have reviewed their review in detail. It feels as if the BC government is abandoning climate action on the pretext that it’s not important to voters anymore, and that affordability concerns are more important. Instead, it is going all-in on LNG, which is worse than coal as a climate pollutant. I believe I am speaking for everyone who understands the gravity of the climate crisis. There is no trade-off between climate solutions and affordable living. We can, and must, do both. You can read, print and download the PDF below.
