Join the WE-CAN Board: Help Shape the Future of BC’s Climate Movement
Are you passionate about climate justice and community organizing? Do you want to help strengthen one of BC’s largest climate networks? The West Coast Climate Action Network (WE-CAN) is now accepting applications for new board members before our Annual General Meeting on May 24!
We’re looking for committed individuals who believe in the power of collaboration to accelerate climate action. Whether you have experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising, grassroots organizing, or simply a deep love for this planet – we want to hear from you.
Being on the WE-CAN board means:
- Supporting over 250 member organizations across BC
- Helping guide our strategy, priorities, and partnerships
- Working alongside a passionate team of volunteers
- Taking action to grow a more just and resilient climate movement
We especially welcome applications from Black, Indigenous, or racialized people, from rural or northern communities, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, youth, and others who bring diverse lived experiences to our leadership table. Help shape the future. Bring your voice to the table.

This application is open to both new applicants and current board members seeking re-nomination.
