Join Us on Zoom, Friday November 20, 12-1pm: Unceded, with the Author George Abbott
Our guest speaker, George Abbott, is a BC Treaty Commissioner and a former Liberal MLA and cabinet minister. His book Unceded: Understanding British Columbia’s Colonial Past and Why It Matters Now is a compelling history of the BC government’s difficult and frequently abusive relationship with Indigenous peoples. For all of us who live in BC, it is a history that matters. We invite you to join us on Zoom as George shares his learning and his experience.
