Social Media Support Program – Application

We are offering social media support to 10 of our member organizations through a dedicated summer intern as part of our Social Media Action for Climate Knowledge (SMACK) program. The intern will work directly with selected organizations to improve their social media presence, share best practices, and help promote their work. At the end of the program, we will create a social media toolkit as a resource for all members.

Social media is a powerful tool for environmental organizations. It helps combat climate misinformation and disinformation, strengthens public outreach, and amplifies key messages to wider audiences. A strong social media presence can engage communities, mobilize supporters, and influence public discourse—helping to drive political action on climate issues. Participating in this program will give your organization valuable skills and strategies to maximize its impact online.

This internship is generously funded through the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS), supporting our collective efforts to enhance climate communication and advocacy.

If your organization is interested in participating, please complete this short application form.
