What social media goals would you like to achieve through this program?

Right now, we don't have any social media presence because we don't know where/how to start. We are entirely volunteer-run, and currently do not have anyone dedicated to handling socials. Through this program, we hope to develop a strong following of people and organizations from predominantly the Lower Mainland, and especially Richmond. We would like to come across as friendly neighbours who want to provide people with the tools to exercise their political will (must be non-partisan). In terms of content, we hope to develop a strategy for posting once per week (excluding cross-posts) for at least six months.

Is there anything else you’d like us to know about your social media needs?

At the national level, CCL Canada has an active social media presence. However, a lot of their content skews towards being Ontario-focused since that's where most of the members are. Since the Richmond Chapter organizes primarily around local issues, we want to go beyond just reposting things from the national accounts.
