Dear WE-CAN Members,
How are things going? Together, we are 285 member organizations, working to tackle this awful beast, the climate crisis, and to promote and implement the myriad solutions, all of which will make our world a far better place.
In 2024 we applied for charitable status, and we have reached the last hurdle. Can you join us for a General Meeting, to consider and approve our new constitution and bylaws? We need your participation to reach the finish line.
IMPORTANT
Can you assign someone to be your organization’s voting delegate at the meeting, and ask them to fill in this Delegate Form? That will tell us who to expect and ensure that we have a quorum.
To explain our reasons for wanting to become a charity, we have created this short slideshow. In a nutshell, most donor organizations only accept funding applications from charities, so if we are to develop new projects that need funding, we are going to need charitable status.
