In this webinar, Omri Haiven from SFU’s Clean Energy Research Group and staff from Sacred Earth will show how agrivoltaics (combining solar with agriculture) and ecovoltaics (using solar shade to rehabilitate ecosystems) can advance both food and energy sovereignty.

By intentionally creating microclimates, these technologies emulate traditional ‘forest gardens’ to cultivate native foods and medicines while restoring depleted land.
