Do You Want to Join Our Board?

Interested in joining our volunteer Board of Directors? There are 5 vacancies for election, including the positions of Secretary and Treasurer.

We meet as a Board twice a month, and most Board members are active on one or more of our working teams.

Our purpose is to serve, support, amplify and promote the work of our 240 member organizations, and to take whatever other actions we feel are needed to help end the global climate emergency.

You enjoy developing new ideas and strategies; you want to help WE-CAN grow and be more effective, as we work together to tackle the enormous danger that is the climate crisis.

You may already be involved with one of WE-CAN’s member groups. Or not!

You may already be actively involved in BC’s climate movement. 

You may have previous board experience. 

You have a commitment to our JEDI principles, and you enjoy working in a collegial manner with a diverse board.
